The Cast
Asher Aldritch lost his family at a young age, and upon discovering the hidden powers of thaumaturgy and occult science, exacted vengeance on those responsible. The cost, however, was steeper than he could ever hope to repay in this lifetime: his eternal soul…
Nathaniel Harper was an aimless soul for many years before being taken under Asher’s tutelage, and has in a few short years become an excellent detective in his own right. His mentor keeps the secrets of the occult from him, confident that his protégé will become an even better investigator without help from otherworldly powers.
The young apprentice shows great potential, and has a strong heart and steadfast will to protect his beloved home of Tacitus City, spurred on by his own dark past to fight against every worldly corruption that plagues its people.
Rebecca Withers serves faithfully as secretary and administrative assistant of the VDA, and lends her invaluable skills to the logistical support of the Agency’s operations. She has an astute mind and a kind heart, and strives to help her friends however she’s able, even at the expense of herself.
She represents the heart and soul of their mission, and is the first face clients see when they enter the ever-open doors of the Agency. Her stalwart commitment to justice and truth as well as her keen emotional intelligence have saved them all in many ways and on many occasions.
